2025 Yoga Academy 20HR Weekend Immersion Training

Atha Yoga Academy offers a unique style of 200 hour yoga teacher training. This program is open to all levels and covers the foundational aspects of Yoga, Spirituality and embodiment. Depending on your personal goals, whether to become a certified yoga teacher or to simply deepen your own personal practice, we can help you curate an individual transformation and intentional focus of study.

Our curriculum is divided into nine (9) 20-hour immersion weekends, each completed within themselves but designed to be a full continuum of training that will lead you to obtain a 200-hour yoga teacher certification. 

20HR Immersion Weekend

These singular 20-hour modules can also be taken for continuing education hour requirements for those who are already certified through Yoga Alliance. If you are not interested in becoming a teacher, these 20-hour immersions serve just as strongly as tools to deepen your own personal wisdom of Yoga and gain a deeper spiritual perspective for personal growth.

Each 20-hour training has a unique energy and has been created by like-minded souls to guide the process of personal transformation, self-realization, and empowerment.

During this 200-hour journey, students have an opportunity to step into their essence as yoga teachers if they desire. They will participate in a final teach-back session and complete an overview exam. There will be individual requirements for each 20-hour segment as well. This is to follow the progress and understanding of the student throughout the process for the best overall growth and learning.

The 9-20hr weekend modules offered by Atha Yoga Shala are a comprehensive training program designed for individuals aiming to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga, culminating in a 200-hour Yoga Alliance-approved certification.

This program is structured around intensive weekend sessions, each spanning 20 hours, meticulously curated to encompass a broad spectrum of yoga philosophies and practices.

On our property, we follow the Yamas and the Niyamas. The Yamas and the Niyamas are yoga’s ethical guidelines laid out in the first two limbs of Pantanjali’s eightfold path. They are like a map written to guide you on life’s journey. Simply put, the Yamas are things not to do, or restraints, while the niyamas are things to do, or observances. Together they form a moral code of conduct, and serve as the basis of our practice.
