Scott Adelman
I’ve been exposed to the Yoga world since I was a child. My uncle Sriram was a universal yoga study and started an ashram in Miami.

My mother’s best friend Sathari was a Yogi Bhajan Devotie, and they taught me to be a vegetarian very early on. They both were super cool and unique never imagined I would grow up to be like them. I took up yoga practice as a young man, because between yoga and tai chi, I was learning to still my mind, and I found the energy ball And it brought me peace. The byproduct was discipline and a strong body. I mastered the hatha realm, the harder, the hotter, the better! When I prayed for energy, I was sent to the mountains in Espinola New Mexico, by Preti Kaur a healer who was practicing at my mother’s home. Attending summer solstice with thousands of yogis from all over the planet transformed my life and my practice forever. My prayer for energy was achieved. I became a kundalini yoga teacher, blessed and named Satatma by Yogi Bhajan, and then was certified in Chicago with Shiva Singh and Shabad Kaur thousands of hours of teaching have led me to, the Atha Yoga Shalla, a mystical place with wonderful teachers. I’m proud to be a part of it.
